Skills
Editing & Design: I design posters, flyers and illustrations as a freelance, working with Photoshop & Illustrator (Portfolio online) I also have basic film editing experience with programs such as Final Cut pro, Avid and Premier.
Web: I build and maintain a number of websites for myself and for other employment positions. I can work with platforms such as Wordpress and Weebly and have some basic HTML skills. I use all the usual networking media such as Linkdin, Facebook and twitter.
Photography: Through my entire art education and the documentation on my own work, I have had to become proficient with a camera. I own a Digital SLR, and have a portfolio ranging from documentation, nature, conceptual and live performance work.
Construction & Craft: My art practice and various work experience has enabled me to develop confident skills in construction and set up of a practical nature. I know my way around a tool kit & some heavy duty woodworking equipment. I have skills in painting & decorating
I.T: As previously mentioned I am proficient in a number of design programs, but also the following Microsoft Word, Excel and Access; Google apps for business & Mail chimp. I am generally a PC user, but have experience with Mac with some programs. I can install programs usually solve PC problems with ease. I consider myself a quick learner with most technology.
I hold a full, clean, UK driving Licence

Marketing Assistant and Webmaster for Keturah Brown Lingerie 2014 – Ongoing
I created a website for this 45 year Heritage brand in the heart of Primrose Hill. I was responsible for taking the business from a simple boutique to a viable online business. I work alongside the founder and Designer and her PR to help create stylish online content. I mange the social media accounts and website and create Graphic for all the digital and printed content for the brand.
Parish Administrator 2010 – Ongoing
This is a current part- time position at St Mary's Primrose Hill, a busy North London Church. I run a huge number of roles in this job, being one of the only contracted members of staff. Roles include, managing bookings for the rent-able space, building maintenance and security. I am a point of contact for visitors. I run all website maintenance and publicity, as the building is a busy venue for talks and concerts. I run stock and staff management for bar and catering at these events. My administrative roles include banking and updating the financial database; publishing and printing of weekly service sheets and articles and processing applications for weddings, funerals and baptisms. In this job discretion a sensitivity is often essential. I also coordinate the annual homeless shelter.
Founder of Celyn Cooke Millinery & Design 2012 – ongoing
This is a personal enterprise, through which I design and sell handmade fashion accessories, gifts and stationary. I sell items online and also at fairs in London. I enjoy being able to speak with people face to face about my creations.
Designer & Illustrator for Creative Movements 2010 – Ongoing
I create illustrations, props and other artwork for this Franchise, which runs movement classes and workshops for children in London. I get a great amount of freedom and experience with the work I create for this organisation.
Web Administrator and Publicity for Billie Davis Online 2000 – Ongoing
I design, and update the website for this singer songwriter. Also designing promotional material for tours and updating Facebook pages. I process merchandise orders made through the site.
Co-Editor of Cno7 Art-zine 2010 – 2012
I was part of a team of six artists, in creating this independent, quarterly zine. We hosted launch events for each issue, which promoted art and design based around a theme we had set. It was a great challenge to create with others, with no budget, creating something very individual.
Catering & Cafe Manager at Camden Arts Centre 2008 - 2010
This was a full time position in a gallery, where many of the exhibits, talks and screenings took place in the cafe space. We held the private view functions in the same space. I was responsible for a staff of nine people and ran the weekly cafe also catering for the other events. I budgeted, ordered stock, created rotas, ran safety checks and worked as a chef. I learnt alot about profit making businesses, being on the front line of service and how to lead a team. These skills have become invaluable in all my work.
Bookseller at Borders 2008
This was a part time position at a large London bookshop. I ran the children’s department, often hosting activity days along with usual shop floor duties, including stock take, tills and running information desk and processing special orders.
Freelance Art Department Assistant 2005 – 2008
After graduating I worked for a few years as an Art Department Assistant on various productions.
This role included prop and graphic making; set construction and dressing; sourcing and buying props and materials; content research and script breakdown. This role relies heavily on team work, reliability, self sufficiency and a great eye for detail. This helped me gain confidence in working in a creative, professional environment.
